Now the PlayStation company has grown to a total of $3.14 billion in 2020 which is a record for the company as a whole. The latest any reports from the company have given us this information. The reports show that Sony shipped 4.5 million PS5 units at the end of 2020.  and has shipped the remainder of 3.3 million copies from January until March 31st.  the company really seems to be benefiting and making more money during this  Covid 19. Pandemic. Just imagine how much they would have sold if there is no shortage of supply of the ps5 console.

However, with this improvement in sales, you should still expect it’ll be difficult to actually get your hands on a PS5 console or even an Xbox series S. This is because it is difficult to get the components necessary to make the chipset for the PS5 console.  Also, the coronavirus pandemic is not helping the issue at all rather it has driven the demand.

As Sony continues to struggle to meet the demand of the PS5 it will only mean that more increase in profit before PS5 sales will normalize.
